• Pioneered the studio’s signature California Coastal Ranch / Mid-Century Modern

aesthetic rooted in family heritage.

• Leads full-service interior design from concept to execution for private residences,

commercial spaces, and hospitality projects.

• Designs and produces custom furniture and home furnishings in collaboration with local

craftsmen.

• Provides trade sourcing and brokerage services for other designers and brands.

• Built and led the product department, creating and overseeing more than a dozen co-

branded collections.

• Designed furniture, lighting, textiles, tile, flooring, and accessories for brands including

Christopher Farr, George Smith, Remains Lighting, Exquisite Surfaces, and Environment

Furniture.

• Work is installed in landmark hospitality projects including Ace Hotel Los Angeles, Ace

Paseo Residence – Pacific Palisades, CA

A-frame hillside home with ocean and canyon views. Designed two art studios for the client-

artists, custom furniture, vaulted ceilings, Japanese-inspired primary bath, pool, and cedar hot

tub. Named Coastal Home of the Year 2025 by San Diego Magazine.

La Playa Residence – San Diego, CA

Complete renovation of a 1984 organic-architecture home by Scott Emsley. Balanced original

ribbed concrete with walnut/teak woods, custom glazing, limestone slabs, a one-of-a-kind teak

tub, and Megan’s own Commune ivory glazed tiles in the powder room. Featured in San Diego

Design Week 2021.

Sunset Cliffs Residence – San Diego, CA

Full renovation of a 1959 historical landmark by architect Lloyd Therkelsen. Updated all

finishes, kitchen, bathrooms, and electrical while preserving mid-century integrity.

Stratford Residence – Cardiff, CA

Respected original architecture with new flooring, woven wall textures, limestone slabs, and

continuation of iconic Kellogg wood light fixtures. (Architecture by Shanna Kellogg)

Claro Coffee – San Diego, CA

Third-wave coffee shop in the Morena District. Custom Claro Walnut build-out inspired by

George Nakashima. Featured in San Diego Design Week 2020, Eater San Diego, and San Diego

Reader.

Pimlico Residence – Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Full interior renovation adding woven wall coverings, custom rugs, organic fabrics, and custom

furnishings.

Box Canyon Residence – La Jolla, CA

Full interior and exterior renovation of a Mid-Century Modern investment property.

Cactus Hill Residence – San Diego, CA

Cozy family home embracing classic California ranch style with natural surroundings.

Fifth & Laurel Lobby (formerly Mister A’s) – San Diego, CA

Custom curved tufted sofa, Argentine cowhide rug, Stefan Bishop coffee table, Carl Hansen

chairs, and plant styling by Tend Living.

Commonwealth Restaurant – San Francisco, CA (2010)

Michelin-starred restaurant designed in collaboration with Council Design. Warm hickory

furniture and progressive California cuisine.
